What is an aromatase inhibitor and would I need one?
Aromatase inhibitors reduce the conversion of testosterone into oestradiol. They are sometimes discussed in the context of testosterone therapy, but they are not routinely required, and suppressing oestradiol too far carries its own problems including effects on bone and lipids. Whether one has any place in your care is entirely a provider decision informed by symptoms and laboratory values.
