What are the differences between testosterone injections, creams and pellets?

Injections are typically given weekly or twice weekly and produce a peak-and-trough pattern that depends on the interval. Transdermal creams and gels are applied daily and carry a risk of transferring to others through skin contact. Pellets are implanted and release over months but cannot be adjusted once placed. Route is chosen with your provider based on your history, preferences and how you respond.
